Otis (O.J.) Anderson was a running back for 14 seasons. Drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in 1979-86. In his debut he rushed for 193 yards. Only 1 of 4 running backs in NFL history to score running touchdowns in 2 Super Bowls & win Super Bowl MVP. Only Franco Harris & John Riggins had accomplished this prior and only Emmitt Smith has achieved this since. In 1979 he was NFL Rookie of the year. He was also 1st team All-Pro. In 1980 he was 2nd Team All-Pro. From 1979-80 he was 2X Pro Bowl. Also in 1979 he was on the PFWA All-Rookie Team. He then played for the NY Giants 1986-1992. In 1989 he was NFL comeback player of the year. He is a 2X Super Bowl champion XXI, XXV. He was Super Bowl MVP in XXV. He was shot & killed by his father in 2021 over an alleged dog bite.
